Revlon Dotticure

Hey y'all!
I'm finally free from final exams, so I'm sure there will be a lot of  posts until the end of the year!
Today I have a super quick and easy nail art look: a dotticure!

I used two coats Revlon Posh and then I dotted on Revlon Silver Dollar.
This look lasted for an entire week! I was very impressed, seeing as I usually get about four days out of a manicure!

Dotticures are my go to nail art look when I'm in a rush. They are quick, easy, and I can do them with about anything!

What is your go to nail art look?

Sinful Colors Pragmatic & Salon Perfect Flower Power

Hello Lacquer Lovers!

To match my blog's new look, I decided to go with a purple manicure!

Today I have a manicure featuring two of my favorite drugstore brands: Sinful Colors and Salon Perfect! I love Sinful Colors because they are good quality, cheap, and wear like iron. Salon Perfect is keeping up with the indie polish scene, which for a major brand is very important!

I started off with two coats of Sinful Colors Pragmatic. This polish is from the Sinful Shine line.

I topped it off with one coat of Salon Perfect Flower Power. Flower power has large pink circle, large yellow circle, small yellow hex, small blue hex, and small pink hex glitters. The base was kind of thick, so I ended up with some bubbles on my nail.

Overall, I really like this look. It is very summery and girly- perfect to ring in the new school year with!

What is your favorite drugstore brand at the moment?

Swirl Stamping

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have a girly swirly stamping look!

I started off with two coats of Wet n Wild Megalast On A Trip. On A Trip is a dark lavender.
I used Essie Penny Talk and Winstonia plate W203 to stamp on the swirls.

I am in love with this stamping image. There are so many possibilities!

Do you have a favorite stamping image? If so, which one? If not, what would you like to try?

Lilac Tribal

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have a lilac tribal look, inspired by a nail art look I found on chantellevermont.com.

For this look, I used two even coats of Sinful Colors Sinful Shine in Pragmatic. It is a gorgeous lilac with a slight shimmer.
Then, I used L.A. Colors nail art stripers in Black and White to create the tribal patterns.
After it dried I used China Glaze Fairy Dust to bring it all together and top coated.

I'm really loving the tribal look this summer!
What look are you loving right now? Let me know in the comments! :)

Black & White Abstract Nail Art

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have a really neat nail art look for you!

I started off with two coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme as my base. Then, I went in with a Fing'rs Flirt stamping plate in B43, along with Wet n Wild Black Creme to create an abstract look.

I topped the look off with my go to top coat, NYC Grand Central Station.

I'm loving this look! I think it would be very fun to recreate in other colors! Who knows? Maybe you'll see it soon! :)

Neon Zebra Gradient

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have a very easy to achieve and quick nail art look! My polish bestie over at Manis & Makeovers did something similar, so make sure to check her post out as well!

To start off this look, I painted my nails one coat of white using Wet N Wild French White Creme. Then, taking a makeup sponge I sponged two coats of four Color Clubs I picked up this weekend at Ross. They have no names, just numbers. The teal is 131004, the blue is 131007, the purple is 131003, and the pink is 131004.

I finished off the look with zebra stripes using Milani Black Sketch.
I had to use my phone for these pictures, as I could not get my camera to be color accurate. :(

I usually don't wear my nail art looks for long, but I wore this one for three days because I loved it so much! This nail art look even recruited some new readers from a local restaurant (Hello girls!).

I hope that some of y'all will recreate this look. If you do, make sure to post it on my Facebook wall, as I'd love to see it!

Twinsie Thursday: St. Patrick's Day

Hello Lacquer Lovers! Guess what time it is! Twinsie Thursday! Make sure to head over HERE to see my look!

Hello lovelies!

It's me again, with a St. Patrick's Day design! I call it Paddy's Tips O'Gold:

Here in Holland, we don't celebrate, but when Samantha suggested it, I was immediately enthused, since it means GREEN! I wanted to try something different (than my usual designs), so I first sponged on some gold (Essence "My Fortune Cookie") and then I drew on the grass with Catrice "Hugo Moss" and some with NYC "High Line Green". Then I drew on the clovers with Essence "We Rock The Green" and a slightly too broad dotting tool. I should've used a toothpick.

The gold alone was pretty too:

So how many of you will celebrate St. Paddy's Day?

Now head over to my blog to see Samantha's design! I have not seen it yet, so I'm really excited as to what it will be :D

Isn't Lothwen's design great! Maybe I recreate for my actual St. Paddy's Day mani! :)

Black & White Daisy Skittle

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
It's been a while since I've blogged, but I'm still alive and I'M BACK! :D
Today I have a super cute skittle mani that was inspired by the one and only Robin Moses!
Here is her video! I didn't follow it exactly, but you'll get the idea.

I used Orly Catch the Bouquet as my pink base, along with Wet n Wild French White Creme and Black Creme.
This look was super easy to create! The best part is that you can change the colors and have a different mani each time!

I'll be back on Tuesday (or Wednesday) with some more nail art!

Galaxy Nails!

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
The universe is a beautiful thing; I, for one, believe that it is one piece of art! Today this nail art look is inspired by the galaxies!

I used Essie Aruba Blue as my base color. Then I took Above the Curve Risen Angel, Too Cute-icle Beach Blanket, Cutoffs and Bikini, and Orly Oh Cabana Boy and painted them on lightly in different locations on the nail. I used China Glaze Fairy Dust to blend the colors together. To finish up the look I used FingerPaints Santa's Magic in different locations.

This look is very easy to recreate and is the perfect place to start if you're just getting into nail art or if you are a seasoned pro! :)

Cherry Blossoms

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have another mani inspired by a beautiful piece of art!

Base Color: Wet N Wild Teal Slowly and Sea
Flower Colors: OPI Did It On Em, Zoya Charisma, Color Club unnamed yellow and hot pink, and OPI Can't Let Go
Branch Color: Milani Nail Art Striper in Black Sketch

This look was very easy to create! I started off with a base color, drew on the branches (with a light hand) and used the polish brushes to dab on the blossoms.

That is all for today! :)
