Zoya Paradise Sun

Press Samples
Hi everyone!
It has been a while since I last posted, as I've been super busy at work!

Today I have the second Zoya collection for summer 2015: Paradise Sun! Let's get to the polishes!

Zoya Genesis

Zoya Aphrodite

Zoya Mae

Zoya Oceane

Zoya Isa

Zoya Selene

My favorite is definitely Oceane- it is such a gorgeous color!
I used two thin coats for each polish, as they all had a decent formula. All of these pictures were taken underneath artificial sunlight.
You can get these polishes from Zoya.com or where ever Zoya is sold.
What do you think? Will you be picking any of these polishes up? Let me know below!

Stamping with Born Pretty Store

 Press Samples
Hi everyone!
Today I have two stamping looks for you using BPS stamping plates!

Base Color: Essence L.O.L.   Stamp: BP-L007   Stamping Color: Rimmel London Black Satin

For this look, I chose a fan image from the BP-L007 plate. This plate retails for $5.99 USD and it has twenty-five different images, many of which are full nail images. The plate was etched well and the images came out nice.

Base Color: Essence Break Through   Stamp: m41   Stamping Color: Julep Bunny

For this look I used a plate from a mystery set I received. In the mystery bag I got two plates named m41 and m74. The images in these plates were also well etched. These were not plates I would have picked for myself, but that is what mystery bags are all about! One mystery bag retails for $0.99 USD!

I am no stamping master by any means, but practice makes perfect!

What are your favorite stamping plates? Let me know below!

Milani Hi-Res

Hey y'all!
I hope everyone is having a great day! It is currently sleeting along with some freezing rain at my house, which is very uncommon in the south! If you're enduring crazy weather right now, like me, stay safe!
Let's get to the polish!

Milani Hi-Res: two coats; base and top coat.
Milani Hi-Res is a light purple holographic polish! The formula was streaky at first, but a second coat evened it out. I was impressed by the holographic payoff, since drugstore brands have a hard time pulling off holographic polishes.
Overall, I really like this polish! I picked it up a while ago on clearance, along with the other colors in the line, and I'm so glad I did!

Have you found any drugstore gems lately?

Zoya Delight

Press Sample
Hi everyone!

Today I have the Zoya's Delight collection for spring 2015! Overall, I liked this collection, so let's get to the polishes!

Zoya Daisy

Zoya Leslie

Zoya Rayne

Zoya Tiana

Zoya Lillian

Zoya Eden

I used two coats for each polish, no base or top coat! All of the polishes had great formulas and dry times. I enjoyed the cream polishes {Tiana Lillian, and Eden} the most, as I'm not a huge fan of shimmers, but if I had to pick a favorite shimmer it would be Leslie!
These retail for  $9.00 USD and can be found on Zoya's website.

What are your thoughts on this spring collection? Love it? Hate it? Let me know below!

Zoya Ana & Born Pretty Store Water Decals

Press Sample
Hey y'all!
Today's look is a super simple, yet delicate look using a new satin polish from Zoya and a water decal from Born Pretty Store!

I started off with two coats of Zoya Ana.
The rose decal came from a sheet labeled HOT-133. I cut the rose out, like you would a temporary tattoo, saturated it with water and the decal slid right off! I placed it on my nail, cut off the excess, and top coated it to make sure it wouldn't budge!
I'm a fan of water decals as you can move them around to get the perfect placement!

The HOT-133 water decal sheet from Born Pretty Store retails for $2.55USD. Don't forget to use the coupon code YSG10 for 10% off!
What is your take on water decals? Let me know below!

Zoya Naturel Satins

Press Sample
Happy Friday!

Today I have swatches of the Zoya Naturel Satin Collection for 2015! I've seen reviews that were all over the place with this collection, but I'm happy to report that I had a good experience! Let's get to the polishes!

Zoya Brittany

Zoya Ana

Zoya Leah

Zoya Rowan

Zoya Sage

Zoya Tove

I used two coats of each polish, no base or topcoat! Each polish had a decent formula and good dry time. I'm on the fence with the Satin finish, but I love these with topcoat (which you will see in a post in a few days)! I really like the muted colors that Zoya included in this collection, espeacially Sage and Tove!
These retail for  $9.00 USD and can be found on Zoya's website.

What are your thoughts on this collection? Love it? Hate it? Let me know below!

Sinful Colors Glass Pink & Born Pretty Store Gold Foil

Press Sample
Hey y'all!
Tonight I have another post featuring nail art foil from Born Pretty Store!

I applied random pieces of gold foil over two coats of Sinful Colors Glass Pink. I've had Glass Pink in my collection for a while, but this is the first time I've used it! It is a nice sheer pink with gold flecks, so it was the perfect polish for the gold foil!

You can find the gold nail art foil on Born Pretty Store's website! It retails for $5.53 USD and you get six pots of silver foil and six pots of gold foil.
Make sure to use the code YSG10 for 10% off your order!
What do you think about the foil trend? Let me know below!

Sinful Colors Savage & Born Pretty Store Silver Foil

Press Sample
Hey y'all!
I was super busy with school work and I was sick over the past few weeks, so that is why you haven't seen me! I'm better now and school is less hectic, so I'm now back to my normal posting schedule!

Today I have Sinful Colors Savage accented with silver nail art foil from Born Pretty Store!

For this look I used two coats of Sinful Colors Savage. Savage is a gorgeous teal that dries matte.
Then, I added small pieces of silver nail art foil on each nail while the second coat of Savage was still wet.

You can find the silver nail art foil on Born Pretty Store's website! It retails for $5.53 USD and you get six pots of silver foil and six pots of gold foil. I barely used one pot of the silver foil, so I think these will last you a while!
Make sure to use the code YSG10 for 10% off your order!

I'll be back on Tuesday with a look using the gold nail art foil!

New Year's Eve Gradient

Happy New Year's Eve!
Are y'all ready for 2015? I am! I'm sure it will be full of new nail polish and nail art techniques!

The look I have chosen to wear to bring in the new year is very simple- a gradient!

I used two coats of Zoya Haven, topped with a gradient of Zoya Thea. I then used a top coat to smooth it all out!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!
See you in 2015! :D
