Gold Studs

Press Sample
Hi everyone!
Today I have a super simple look featuring some gold studs from Born Pretty Store!

My base color is Revlon Enchanting, which is a gorgeous lavender polish with a slight shimmer. For this look I used two thin coats.
I then added on some large gold studs. They came from a wheel that has about 400 silver and gold studs of various shapes and sizes. The wheel is $3.31 USD and you can use the code YSG10 for 10% off!

I really love the way studs change a look! What do you think?

Zoya Leah with a Rhinestone Bow Accent

Press Samples
Hey y'all!
Today's post features one of Zoya's new satin polishes and a rhinestone bow from Born Pretty Store!

For this look I used two coats of Zoya Leah, no base or top coat! I added the rhinestone bow, as an accent, by putting a small dot of top coat right wear I wanted the bow to go. I applied the bow and held it down for a few seconds and I was good to go! It didn't budge for the rest of the time I wore it. The bow had a slight curve in it, so it sat perfectly on my nail!
I got the rhinestone bow from Born Pretty Store! It costs $5.09 USD for a set of ten. Make sure to use the code YSG10 for 10% off of your purchase!

Teal & Pink

 * The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*
Hey y'all!
Today's post features some rhinestones from Born Pretty Store and a neon teal from Color Club!

For this look, I used the hot pink rhinestones from the 1800 Nail Art 3mm Rhinestones Wheel Glue Glitter UV Gel (#3076) wheel! This wheel retails for $4.27 USD, which is very reasonable, seeing as you get so many rhinestones! Plus, you can use my discount code below for an extra 10% off!
These rhinestones are 3mm in size, which is the perfect size for anybody! My nails are pretty short, but the stones do not overpower my manicure.
If you are looking for rhinestones, I'd definitely recommend these!

So, what do you think? Will you be picking these up?

Hey y'all!
Today I have a quick #notd post featuring Zoya Haven and some studs from KKCenterHK and Born Pretty Store!

The star studs are from KKCenterHK! They are the N.NAIL Studs Star Silver 4mm Nail Art Decorations [NNAIL-DRN619] and they retail for $2.50USD. They have a slight curve to them, so they sit perfectly on your nail. These studs lasted until I changed my manicure (about four days) and did not budge!

The rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store! They are from the 400Pcs 1.2mm/2mm/3mm/4mm Silver Round Rhinestones for Acrylic UV Gel Nail Art wheel and they retail for $3.95USD. These rhinestones wore like iron. They stayed on the entire time I wore this manicure and didn't come off at all! I believe all nail art enthusiasts should have a wheel like this as it provides so many options!

I have a coupon for KKCenterHK and Born Pretty Store!

Magestical Fleur De Lis Long Drop Earrings Review, Nail Art, & Giveaway

 * The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*
Hello Lacquer Lovers!

Today I have something a little different for you- a jewelry review, along with nail art to match, and a giveaway!

 http://cdn3.volusion.com/ncggx.ptawj/v/vspfiles/photos/EFE0031-FB-2.jpg?1394011832

I received the Fleur De Lis Long Drop Earrings from Magestical.com. They retail for $8.50USD.
These earrings have a length of about 12 inches and they would match great with a little black dress.
I did try these on, but I have very sensitive ears. I lasted maybe a minute with them on and then had to remove them due to the reaction it was causing with my ears (Ouch!). With that said, if you have sensitive ears, these are not for you.

Of course, I had to do some nail art based off of these.
I chose to go with a very simple look. I used OPI Glitzerland and SOPI It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat, along with clear and gold rhinestones.
This look accents the earrings perfectly, as the colors are spot on!

 Now onto the giveaway!
This is open international. You will win a $20.00USD gift voucher to Magestical.com. This giveaway is opens today and closes April 6, 2014 at 11:59pm.
Good luck! :)

Fox Nail Art

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
What does the fox say? Haha ;) Today I have a cute fox nail art look that can be done in an infinite amount of colors!
The index finger is two coats of Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See topped with an unlabeled Bonita chunky orange glitter.
The middle finger is two coats of Zoya Arizona topped with light blue rhinestones from eBay.
For the ring finger I used two coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme as the base. I used L.A. Colors nail art striper in Bright Orange to draw the fox. I also used Milani nail art stripers in Black Sketch and White Canvas for the details.
The pinkie finger is two coats of Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See with one coat of Sally Hansen Ice Queen.
I thought the fox would be very hard to draw, but it was much easier than I thought.
I would love to see some of my lovely readers recreate this! If you do, post it on my Facebook wall; I'd love to see it!

Nail Art Inspired by Mondrian!

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
It's finals week for me, so I need a bright mani to cheer me up!

Today my mani is inspired by this painting by Mondrian!

Here is what I came up with:
I used an unnamed yellow Color Club, OPI Red My Fortune Cookie, Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and Sea, Wet n Wild French White Creme, and a Milani nail art striper in Black Sketch.

For the cube nails I applied one coat of Wet n Wild French White Creme and then, using the brushes the polishes came with, I brushed on the red, blue, and yellow polishes. Then I outlined everything with a nail art striper and applied rhinestones to all of my other nails in coordinating colors.

Here is the final look!

I'm loving this manicure and I'll be sure to create it again in the future with other colors! This look is sure to keep me awake during finals, considering how bold it is. Here is to hoping it doesn't distract me too much! ;)

Neon Skittle!

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today, I have a neon skittle mani inspired by a wonderful piece of art! Let's jump right into the mani!

All photos were taken in artificial white light, to best capture the colors.

This bright mani is based off of the following painting called Splatter Roots 02, by Kalie Hoodhood.

I used a mixture of two unnamed Color Clubs, a hot pink and a yellow, Zoya Charisma, and OPI Did It On Em for the accent nail.
OPI Did It On Em is on my index finger, the yellow Color Club is on my middle finger, Zoya Charisma is on my thumb, and the hot pink Color Club is on my pinkie.
I added black rhinestones to each nail after I top coated.

To create the look on my ring finger, I took all of the polishes, along with two q-tips and started dotting away.

This is mani is definitely a show stopper and although the colors are neon, it is still great to rock in the winter! :)

Until next time!

Superman: Man of Steel Mani!

I went to see Superman: Man of Steel on Tuesday, so you know what that means: I had to do a mani to match!
