New Year's Eve Gradient

Happy New Year's Eve!
Are y'all ready for 2015? I am! I'm sure it will be full of new nail polish and nail art techniques!

The look I have chosen to wear to bring in the new year is very simple- a gradient!

I used two coats of Zoya Haven, topped with a gradient of Zoya Thea. I then used a top coat to smooth it all out!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!
See you in 2015! :D

Zoya Willa & Imogen

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have a super quick and cute nail art look for you!

I started off with two coats of Willa. Then using guides I did half moons with Imogen. I added an accent of Imogen on my ring finger; then I topped it off with top coat.

I'm really loving the way this turned out!

Zoya Wishes

* The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*
Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have Zoya's winter collection for 2014: Wishes! This collections includes three pixie dusts and three standard polishes.

First, the Magical PixieDusts! I used two coats (no base/top coat) for my swatches. While these are marketed as textured polishes, they seem to be more of a heavy glitter in a crelly base, as they didn't dry with a texture finish.

Nori

Thea

Imogen

Next, the three standard polishes. There are two frosts and one cream. Willa required two coats and the other two polishes only needed one coat (no base/top coat).

Willa

Haven

Prim

Overall, I liked this collection. My favorites of this collection are Willa and Imogen. I have a super cool nail art idea for these two polishes, so stay tuned!

The standard polishes are $9.00USD and the Magical PixieDusts are $10.00USD. They can be found on Zoya.com.

What are your thoughts on this collection? Will you be picking them up? Let me know below!

Zoya Ultra PixieDust: Fall 2014

* The following nail polishes were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have the new Zoya Ultra PixieDust for fall 2014!

I'll start off with my favorite of the trio, Zoya Noir!

Noir is a vampy plum textured polish with mega hex glitters.

The second polish in the trio is Arianna!

Arianna is a blue toned red wine textured polish with mega hex glitters.

The last polish in the trio is Oswin.

Oswin is a bright red textured polish with mega hex particles.

Each polish needed two coats for full opacity. You can forgo your base and top coats for these polishes, but I would recommend a base coat to prevent any staining that may occur. As always, the formulas and dry time were great. All three polishes dry to a matte finish.

This is the third type of PixieDust Zoya has released, following the original pixies and the magical pixies. I'd say that these are somewhere between the first two, as they are not overly flashy like the magicals, but not  'flat' like the originals.

Overall, I'm loving this trio for fall! What are your thoughts?

Zoya Magical Pixie: Summer 2014

  * The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have Zoya's recent pixie dust collection and I must say I love all three polishes!

Zoya Bar

Bar is a nude leaning gold holographic pixie. For my swatches, I used 3 even coats for full opacity. No base or top coat.

Zoya Ginni

Ginni is a light pink holographic pixie. Like Bar, I used three even coats for full opacity. No base or top coat.

Zoya Arlo

Arlo is a purple leaning pink holographic pixie. Like the other two, I used three even coats for full opacity. No base or top coat.
Arlo is my favorite out of all three because I don't own a polish like it! This will definitely be one of my 'go-to' colors this summer!

Overall, these polishes were awesome! A+ Zoya
What polish is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! :)

Zoya Magical Pixie Trio Review

 * The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have Zoya's Magical Pixie Trio! This trio contains Vega, Cosmo, and Lux; which are all pixie dusts with mega hex holographic glitters.

First up, Lux!

Zoya describes Lux as a "rose quartz sparkle textured pixie dust with mega hex iridescent particles' with a 'full coverage formula".

I used three average coats of Lux with base coat and no top coat.
I was very impressed with the formula and this, by far, had the best formula of the three.

Next Up, Vega!

Zoya describes Vega as a "blue opal sparkle textured pixie dust with mega hex iridescent particles' with a  'full coverage formula".

I used two coats of Vega with base coat and no top coat.
While this was my favorite color out of the three, the formula was below par. I found it thick and hard to work with, but this was a problem I was expecting, as it is a chunky texture polish.

 Last but not least, Cosmo!

Zoya describes Cosmo as a "silver crystal sparkle textured pixie dust with mega hex iridescent particles' with a 'full coverage formula".

I used two coats of Cosmo with base coat and no top coat.
Like Vega, the formula was below par. It was thick and hard to work with, but this was expected, as it is a chunky texture polish.

What do you think of this trio?
Overall, I was impressed, but I think that the formula could use some work.

I'll be back later this week because the Zoya Awaken Collection should be on my doorstep Tuesday! :)
