Anchors Away

*Press Samples
Hi, everyone!
Wow, I've been gone for a while. I honestly didn't mean to stay gone this long, but life gets in the way. Anyways, I'm back and plan to make up for all of the time that I've missed!

Here is my first manicure, to get me back in the swing of things!  It features some of my favorite brands, so let's get right into it!

Let's start with the basis of all manicures: nail upkeep. I've currently been using a four-way buffer* from Born Pretty Store to keep my nails in shape! I would consider this buffer one of the best I've ever used - it hasn't shown a lot of wear and I've been using it for a while now! You can find it on Born Pretty Store's website for $1.99 USD!

For my pinky I started off with two coats of Zoya Ryan*. Then, I added the cute seagulls from the QJ-197 water decal sheet*, which retails for $0.99 USD at Born Pretty Store! I'm a little upset that they didn't transfer like I'd hoped, as they don't have a white background. I was, however, very happy with the way the anchors transferred onto my thumb (not pictured).

For my ring and index fingers I started off with two coats of OPI Red My Fortune Cookie. Then, I transferred full nail water decals from the BP-W07 sheet*. For my middle finger I started off with two coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme and I used a decal from the same sheet. The BP-W07 water decal sheet retails for $1.99 USD.

I really love the way this manicure turned out! It is definitely a great summer send off mani!

What do you think? Are you still on the water decal train? Let me know below!

Summer Stamping with KKCenterHK

 * The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Today I have two stamping items to share with you from KKCenterHK. Overall, I was impressed with both products and would definitely order them in the future.

The first item I used was the N.NAIL Summer Beach Bikini Shell Sun Seaweed Soft Stamping [NNAIL-SPPNGA09]. This soft stamper features a rope, wheel, anchor, seashells, seaweed, a bikini, and a sun image. To use this stamper, paint the polish over the image and dab it on paper until the excess is gone. Then, you can stamp it directly onto your nail. It takes a lot of practice, so be patient. This soft stamper retails for $7.79USD.
I used the rope and anchor images for this mani, along with some random drugstore polishes.

The second item I used was the N.Nail Mini Size Iron Scraper & Size Stamp Set [JR1140], which retails for $4.05USD. This is the perfect sized mini stamper, as it is not too large or too small. The only compliant I have is that the scraper is not an iron scraper as the website says, it is a plastic scraper. Besides that, I was impressed.
I used Winstonia Plate W111, along with some random drugstore polishes.

You can order these directly from KKCenterHK here: kkcenterhk.com.

That is all I have for today Lacquer Lovers! I'll be back later this week with some other cool reviews. :)

Independence Day!

Hello Lacquer Lovers!
Happy Independence Day to all of my US ladies!

Today's post will be super quick, but it is a momentous occasion! My right hand turned out better nail art wise than my left, which never happens!

On my pinkie I used two coats of L.A. Colors BCC566, which is a navy shimmer. I applied one coat of Orly Spazmatic over it. It is the perfect navy combo!
On my ring finger I started off with two coats of Wet n Wild French White Creme. I then applied one coat L.A. Colors Art Deco Nail Art Striper in Red Glitter. It has more of a pink pay off, so I suggest two coats. Next to Red Glitter I applied one coat of L.A. Colors Art Deco Nail Art Striper in Blue Glitter. I wish they had more original names!
My middle finger has two coats of OPI Red My Fortune Cookie, which is my go to red! Using L.A. Colors Nail Art Striper in Silver I drew an anchor. A tutorial will be up on that soon!
Again I used two coats of OPI Red My Fortune Cookie on my index finger. I layered one coat of China Glaze Ring in the Red over it.
On my thumb I have two coats of Jindie-PENDENCE over Wet N Wild White French Creme. You can find a full review HERE
As always I started off with a base coat and topped it off with top coat!

Don't forget about my GIVEAWAY!
See you in a few days!
